Theme: Solar System - Sun and brief information about the planets, we will be discussing each one in more detail the next couple of weeks or so.
Geometric Solids - Sphere
Activity: Paper mache Sun and Earth - we will be spending time making paper mache models of all the planets. They will have a solar system model at the end of our unit.

Most of our preschool time was spent on our paper mache models today! We only had time for two circles - the first one we discussed the Solar System, talked about the shape of the planets, and worked on our Phonograms INDIVIDUALLY -- this way I know which phonograms Jace and Collin need to work on. Our second circle was spent doing our calendar, weather, pledge and national anthem, and class songs.
The boys will be finishing two more planets on Thursday.

Too cool! I love the paper mache thing... AND that they'll have their own solar system model at the end that they made! Really, really cool! You do such cool stuff, Rinna!
