Because of the varied weather patterns we've had this week and last week, we learned about different types of weather. We read the "Weather" book by Usborne, talked about how rain/snow/lightning is made and how the water cycle works. We also reviewed the continent Antarctica. If you have the movie "Happy Feet" this goes along with what we learned in school.

We also worked on number writing practice, and reading phonic books in class. Some of you may have gotten a take-home book, which needs to be turned in to class next week so they can get a new take-home book.
