Week 29: April 12-15

Theme: Asia
Phonograms: 1-50 Review

Lots of reading out loud by our readers at circle, writing exercises, math, and sand art - not sure what the deal is, but both of the classes have particularly liked doing a lot of sand art extensions - drawing insets filled with sand, map work filled with sand, etc.

Photos from work today:
reading a pink book out loud to the class
building wedgit models
self-designed combined map work and sand art - Luke traced each map piece and worked on this for two days!
teens board work
puzzles and identifying shapes (diamond = rhombus)
working on a card using "Things to Make For Dad" art book
teens board, laying out beads for each number
Crystal gave the kids a ride on the cool rhino
