I've been a slacker! I haven't sat down and blogged about what we have been up to in preschool since our Christmas break. Here is what we did today:
Theme: Ancient Egyptians (we read about them, and learned about two different types of pyramids - square-based and triangular based)
Read Chap. 5/6 of Dragons in Blueland at lunch
Recited 41 Phonograms
Jace and Collin started Saxon Math 1 last week, we did Lesson 5 today.
Work:
Roc: hammering, writing i,o,x in sand, brain and eye puzzles, sound boxes, sorting magnetic/non-magnetic objects
Jace: playdough, days of the week work, clock work, human body puzzles, Saxon Math (writing 2,3,7)
Collin: drawing, Saxon Math (2,3,7) human body puzzles
Luke: wedgits, sorting lima beans and rice using strainer, spindle boxes, hammering, toothpick work
