The boys' first day of classes went well. Since I have 3 second-years in this class, they all got to do regular work time right off the bat and modeled a lot of work activities for our new friend, Cole. Seemed like the preschool day went too fast, and all of them made sure they got to do the "snack work". I also changed the schedule up a bit this time so this is how it pretty much went:
First Circle - Welcome, Calendar, Weather, Pledge and National Anthem
Work Time & Presentations
Second Circle - Theme Story / Music Time: We read the Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn, which the boys LOVED!
2nd Work Time - Art - we did handprints (to remind them of the story we read)
