April 28 / 30

Last week we learned about creatures to be found on the seashore. We read Usborne's "On the Seashore". I also switched out some work activities so there were a few new things on the shelf: magnet match game, math work - identifying numerals and associating with the correct quantity, folding clothes and napkins, continent playdough work for Asia and Africa; and also playdough work with uppercase letter cutters.
Roc identified all his sandpaper numbers, and associated the quantities to the numerals (random order 1-9). Roc also chose this work on his own!
Playdough work with alphabet cutters. They spelled their names!

Magnet match work

Numbers work 5, 6, 7.
On Tuesday, Kade asked me to take a picture of his wedgit tower
